Mike came in on a short term contract ahead of one of the busiest times of the year for us with our online sales and immediately made himself part of the team and got straight on with everything we asked of him.

project brief:

Whittard of Chelsea have a broad e-commerce offering and needed a reliable, up to speed developer who could come in and take over their Black Friday and Christmas online sales pages ahead of time to allow everything to run smoothly while still using their own systems including SalesForce and Tailwind CSS.

project planning:

Planning for this contract started by doing a full audit of the assets that were currently in use across the site and making recommendations to the various teams on how we can utilise those assets to enable online growth ahead of two of their busiest periods of the year for online sales.

project conclusion:

Throughout the duration of the contract I was tasked with building out various parts of the online store to include flash sales, different assets for different countries around the world and to ensure it all integrated with their internal systems at the same time.

This was all achieved using a variety of graphical elements and custom code to produce the pages required by such a prestigious company.
