Mike was a delight to work with. He gave us the best solution for getting our charity products available to buy online without having to make drastic changes to our current website.

project brief:

St Martins Housing wanted to add an online shop to their WordPress website to enable them to sell various products throughout the year to increase their exposure to the wider community.

project planning:

After a thorough evaluation of available e-commerce platforms, WooCommerce was selected as the ideal solution for this project as it enabled St Martins to utilise their current payment gateway and have full control over the products that were added to the shop for launch and moving forward.

project conclusion:

After choosing WooCommerce as the best platform to build the new shop, I created a staging version of the site to allow the current live site to continue to be used. Once development of the new shop had taken place and signed off, the development files were copied to a subdomain to work separately from the live site to allow customers to browse between the two sites and make any purchases they choose.
