project brief:

Hello Recruitment had an old WordPress website built using the Divi framework which needed completely rebuilding and developing.

project planning:

Due to my extensive experience with WordPress I knew that custom post types for the jobs would be needed to allow full control over what is displayed and where. I then moved on to planning the sitemap for the site before deciding on using Bootstrap as a framework to build the site out of.

The client also needed the ability to publish jobs themselves across the site so that was factored in to the planning stage to create a bespoke form on the front end with access limited to them to allow them to easily add and manage all custom post types on the site.

project conclusion:

I created custom post types for all of their individual job postings and made sure that Google Job Schema was attached to each post correctly with minimal input from the staff when they are uploading jobs to the website. The site templates were all built using the Bootstrap framework with a custom child theme to enable full control over the look and functionality of the website moving forward.
